Jenny Products Inc. () has launched the GT Series, which is the companyβs smallest range of electric-powered, two-stage air compressors. Ruggedly designed for professional use, the portable GT-Series features pneumatic wheels, high-pressure output, a six-foot power cord and a convenient lift handle.
Available in four different models with 8-, 15-, 17- and 30-gallon tanks, the series generates 15.2 CFM at 175 PSI or 15.5 CFM at 100 PSI. All units are driven by five-horsepower, commercial-grade electric motors that operate from a single-phase, 230-volt power source.
To reduce maintenance requirements and optimize reliability, the compressor features heavy-duty cast-iron compressor pumps and powder-coated air tanks as standard. A finned intercooler, large flywheel and directional air shroud help the compressor maintain low pump temperatures while assisting in start-up.
Through a splash lubrication system, the companyβs βUltimate Blueβ synthetic pump oil protects the compressorβs crankshaft, pistons, rings, bearings and cylinders. It also features a thermal overload protection, which helps prevent costly damage to the motor.
Also, additional features integrated into the compressor to protect it from damage against harsh jobsite conditions include totally enclosed belt guards and protectively mounted fittings.
Other standard features of the GT Series include manual tank drains, large canister intake filters with replaceable filter elements, pressure relief safety valves, anti-vibration feet, stainless steel braided discharge hoses, special unloading valves and tank, regulator and outlet pressure gauges.
Options offered by the compressor include dual control, start/stop control, an on/off switch, a dual voltage switch, air line filter, lubricator and an oil sight glass. The company added that customers can also request for other pressure configurations.
