So…. if Compressor Efficiency WITHOUT HEAT RECOVERY IS 70%… now I recover 90% heat… this mean my Compressor Efficiency is 160% (90%+70%)… ???

I know Energy Out/Energy In is <1…. but here we have 1.6…

…. but we have this situation in Heat Pumps…. where a COP of 3-4…. or HeatOut/Heat In is "normal"…. and if one uses BOTH THE hot and cold Ouputs one gets a COP of 5-7…. much much more than 1.0….

If one hast accept that Eout/Ein <1.0…. then this definition of Efficiency… needs another name… like COP….

…… so what do we do for an Air Compressor with and without heat recovery…. to answer the simple question…. what is Efficiency of the latter (WITH Heat Recovery)…. 160%.. ???
